The National Institute on Aging’s 2020 National Research Summit on Care, Services, and Supports for Persons with Dementia and Their Caregivers aimed to identify gaps and opportunities for care improvement. Joanne Spetz presented on the workforce that cares for people living with dementia, as part of Theme 2. Spetz and Laura Wagner later published a paper on key issues and recommendations on this theme.
