Robyn I. Stone, DrPH, is currently Strategic Advisor to LeadingAge. She founded the LeadingAge Center for Applied Research (now the LeadingAge LTSS Center @UMass Boston) in 1999 and served as the center’s co-director and senior vice president of research at LeadingAge until her retirement. An internationally recognized authority on aging services, Dr. Stone engaged in policy development and applied research for more than 40 years, serving in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as the deputy assistant secretary for disability, aging, and long-term care policy, and as the assistant secretary for aging. She was elected to the National Academy of Medicine in 2014 and is a Fellow of the Gerontological Society of America.
