Dr. Rowe has authored more than 200 scientific publications, mostly on the aging process. Prior to joining the faculty at Columbia, he was the CEO and Executive Chairman for Aetna (2000-2006), President and CEO of Mt. Sinai NY Health (1998-2000), and President of Mount Sinai Hospital and School of Medicine (1988-1998).
